O-No Food series of toys was created by the creative designer Andrew Bell who portrayed the Sushi and Sashimi in a dark yet witty way. It started off with the O-No Sushi series which came in Red and Green models. Subsequently there were special edition release of purple , blue and gray o-no Sushis too. The toy is packaged like the real sushi that you can find in the supermarkets albeit much funnier looking with their interchangeable bulging eyes that kind of seems to be screaming ‘What happened to my body parts!!?!!’

The second series to follow is the O-No Sashimi collection which featured a fish instead of the squid. In terms of concept there wasn’t much changes from the original series. The fish came too in familiar packaging and with bulging eyes that were interchangeable.  There was however a special edition that was created especially for the STGCC 2011 whereby Andrew Bell had designed the fish in the Singapore flag color.
